LPG is Liquefied Petroleum Gas, which means it is a liquid inside the container under its own vapor pressure. Once the container is breached and the pressure on top of the liquid decreases, the liquid begins to boil due to the fact that LPG's boiling point is -44F (e.g., Water's BP is 212F). Once in gas form, the gas is 2X heavier than air, so it falls to the ground, where it can accumulate to its Lower Explosive Level (LEL) of ~ 2%. It can travel great distances in it's flammable range. It takes LESS THAN 1.0 mJ of energy to ignite the gas. For reference, when we get shocked by a door knob in the wintertime and we feel the static shock, that is around 10-15 mJ. (i.e., 10-15X's the energy needed to ignite the gas). Lastly, LPG gas is invisible/clear. The white cloud we see in the video is the extremely cold LPG gas condensing the humidity/moisture in the air creating a "cloud" at ground level, exactly how clouds in the sky are created.
