This is one of the simplest and quickest ways of pulling prints from a gel plate. I used dye inks from @CatherinePooler and a final layer of @LiquitexOfficial acrylic paint to create this image of a mother and child.

The mask was made using a copyright free image that I printed and cut up. I then went on to add some stitching details...something about using that eyelash yarn in the gel plate print made me think about this strong thread that runs through a mother-child relationship.

It's complex and strong and multi-layered...there are so many stories interwoven together infused with a selfless kind of love.
