#LOST SOUNDTRACK ANALYSIS (Michael Giacchino's score)
"It'll be fine."
YouTube's copyright policy forced me to "kill my darling", but all is fine, because she's right here in all her nosebleeding glory. Go watch it!

So many years after the show's ending, Michael Giacchino's amazing soundtrack for LOST still has many, many secrets to uncover. Not only does every main character have their own theme music, but much like the interconnected writing of the show itself, Giacchino's score connects locations, scenes, emotions and conflicts in unbelievably brilliant ways. For the foreseeable future, I will be exploring Michael Giacchino's soundtrack from ABC's LOST in a weekly video, covering all episodes of the show and their musical connections to each other.

On ABCs #LOST, the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 were connected long before the day their plane crashed. Its almost like they were destined to cross paths and, eventually, change each others lives forever. As the 20th anniversary of LOST nears and the show increases in popularity, Ive noticed first-time viewers are usually shocked to learn about many of the character connections that occurred in the flashbacks. Me - Im shocked that no one has ever attempted to make a video, breaking down all of these connections!
There are specific connections I did not include, namely:
- Airport connections: Many of the shows characters cross paths at the airport, which seems like less of a coincidence, since theyre literally are all there for the same reason: to board the same flight to the same destination. I had to draw a line somewhere. [Yes, the Eko/Libby scene is a cheat on my part.]
- Orchestrated meetings: Characters like Widmore, Hawking and Jacob nudge destiny just a little by purposefully orchestrating certain events and meetings, fully aware of future events. Additionally, Widmore is not just a man, but a brand. With all love to Kate and Rachel, I did not include every time a character uses a Widmore Corporation pregnancy test just to show how they are connected to Desmond.
