Here's what happens in the PS1 version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets if you lose the Slytherin student while following him to locate the Slytherin Common Room and Draco Malfoy.
If you lose sight of him, Ron as Crabbe will say one of four things to Harry as Goyle:
"He's gone."
He's disappeared."
"You've lost him."
"You've lost him, how are we going to find the Slytherin Common Room now?"
Note that the fourth thing that Crabbe will possibly say has a period at the end when it should have a question mark instead.
The music track that plays when following the Slytherin student can be heard in the PS2 version of Chamber of Secrets when a Prefect spots Harry when he's sneaking around. It's a great music track and it would fit a lot of drama and horror popular culture very well, most notably a crime show like the Law & Order franchise, the CSI franchise, Homicide: Life on the Street, NYPD Blue, Without a Trace, the crime drama The Closer & its spin-off Major Crimes and Criminal Minds. The track does make me think of how the Arthur franchise is a lot better than Phineas and Ferb.
I'm not a fan of either LEGO Harry Potter game and I have no desire to play either of them ever again because it'd be better to get a LEGO Harry Potter game with full voice acting, an open world and covers all eight main films.
The CBS crime drama Jerry Bruckheimer-produced series of Cold Case would gross me out too much like the stereotypes, Lilly Rush's dark backstory making no sense since it's illegal for a minor to purchase alcohol, the footage for the flashback scenes & the wigs with way too much licensed music used for the flashback scenes, among many other things which would make me have the same reaction as Roger Ebert when he saw the 1994 movie North, leaving me unable to watch any episode of the series from start to finish. The fantasy element and look is meant to indicate how I think the flashback scenes on Cold Case should’ve been done with the diary scene from the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (which came out a year before Cold Case premiered) as an example:
Harry writes in Tom Riddle's diary to communicate with the memories of it which results in him being sent back in time to June 13, 1943 where he sees what happened when Tom Riddle opened the Chamber of Secrets and framed Hagrid for it, resulting in Hagrid being expelled from Hogwarts and Aragog being released into the Forbidden Forest. The scene is in black and white, but Harry's in full color. The scene only uses generic music. Richard Harris still played Young Albus Dumbledore while Martin Bayfield played Young Hagrid, but his voice was dubbed by Robbie Coltrane. After the memories end, Harry is sent back to the present day automatically and says “Whoa” after he’s out of the diary.
See? Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets really shows how you can do a flashback scene without licensed music, even if the year wasn't set well into the past, using a different type of footage and using any point of view, regardless. The Chamber of Secrets movie would be shown in a K-8 school district because it's rated PG while Cold Case wouldn't because it should've been rated TV-MA and not TV-14.
The way I'd fix Lilly Rush's dark backstory on Cold Case to make sense without alcohol since it's illegal for minors to purchase or consume alcohol is by making it be more like Daniel LaRusso from The Karate Kid franchise since that doesn't involve alcohol and it also involves getting attacked where in this case, being bullied while reworking Lilly's mother from an alcoholic to being overworked and absent.
Kathryn Morris happens to share a birthday (January 28) with a Harry Potter cast member which is Lee Ingleby who played Stan Shunpike.
Cold Case happened to end in the same year that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 came out and it premiered and ended in between Harry Potter films coming out as the series premiered in 2003 in between Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban coming out in 2002 & 2004 respectively while the series ended in 2010 in between Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows - Part 2 coming out in 2009 and 2011 respectively. Both the diary scene from Chamber of Secrets and the way Alfonso Cuaron directed Prisoner of Azkaban give an idea of what Cold Case would be like if it was a kid-friendly show since both films are rated PG which was after the PG-13 rating was created in 1984. I saw Prisoner of Azkaban in theaters when I was four years old and that was four months before I moved to Wilmette and two months before I began attending school in Wilmette District 39 via the Early Childhood Program at Romona Elementary School which you may recognize from when it was used for filming the 1989 movie Uncle Buck. The same year that Deathly Hallows - Part 2 came out, Central School in Wilmette used for filming the 2011 movie Contagion which featured a pandemic. Both Romona & Central have won a National Blue Ribbon.
