In this video, I showcase most of the Darth Maul level in the Japanese PS2 version of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and also the PSP version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy where I showcase most of the changes that were made in The Complete Saga version of it.

Here's a list of these changes:

Padmé wears her Battle of Naboo outfit in the opening cutscene which fixes the error in the first game and the PSP version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy where she wore her Tatooine outfit.
The astromech panel in the first section was changed to an Imperial panel.
The player no longer yields studs from assembling the bridge in the first area once Darth Maul runs away.
The object that the player can use the Force on and open it in the first area can now only be done with the Sith Force.
The utility vehicle from the 7141 Naboo Fighter set was replaced by a rideable vehicle which is also in Retake Theed Palace and Death Star Escape.
The astromech panels in the third section were replaced by Imperial panels.
The minikit in the sub-area of the first area was replaced by the Power Brick while in turn, the minikit is now earned by using the Sith Force on all the red lights in the room.
The player now has to use an explosion below the end of the second area to destroy the silver object and earn the minikit.
It's much easier to die if the player uses a lightsaber slam move when taking out the Droidekas on the two platforms in the third area.
A purple stud was added to the third area.
Darth Maul never uses the Dark Force on the player when they fight him, making the fight much easier.
The platforms in the final area are already built by the Force when the player enter.

Cold Case was airing its second season on CBS when this game came out and it's a great example of a live-action TV show that is not for kids since it should've been rated TV-MA and not TV-14 since it's way too mature for kids with a notable example being that Lilly Rush who is so tough and traumatized as a detective where she has an alcoholic mother, having difficult relationships with and a difficult childhood with a dark backstory that makes no sense since it's illegal for a child to purchase alcohol, but one way you could fix it without alcohol is by having it being more like Daniel LaRusso from The Karate Kid since that's appropriate for children, unlike Cold Case. Due to her past, she is often emotionally closed off and has trouble forming healthy relationships which can trick children into learning unhealthy ways of dealing with their emotions, particularly for older students who may be exploring complex character traits. Thus, she doesn't model the healthy communication and emotional resilience skills that children need. The episodes themselves would scare them too much from start to finish and cause trauma, nightmare, fear, anxiety or other potential side effects, due to the frightening stories and images such as the graphic depictions of injuries, and while murders are often shown in flashbacks rather than graphically, the series explores how victims died in detail which would be highly disturbing and psychologically damaging for children.

If you read the opening crawl for this level, you can tell that the Anakin's Flight level was supposed to come before this level and after Retake Theed Palace, but it was cut so that The Phantom Menace would have six levels like with the other two movies at the time as it was the least complete. However, the Bounty Hunter Pursuit level from Attack of the Clones also got cut, due to time constraints. Both levels returned in The Complete Saga with Anakin's Flight as a bonus level while Bounty Hunter Pursuit was added back as a normal level for Attack of the Clones which got me so obsessed over it when I first encountered it in 2nd Grade. The other two cut levels were Asteroid Dogfight from Attack of the Clones where Obi-Wan chases Jango Fett's Slave I through an asteroid field, but a level based on the scene is in The Skywalker Saga and Boga Chase for Revenge of the Sith which got cut because they couldn't figure out what the second player would do and there's no level of the scene in The Skywalker Saga, likely for the same reason, but you can find Boga in the Utapau hub world.

The PSP version of this level in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is the same as I mentioned earlier, but without the ending cutscene for The Phantom Menace.

As you might of noticed, in Japanese versions of video games on Sony consoles, you confirm with Circle and go back with X while in other regions, it's vice versa. The DS, 3DS, Wii U and Nintendo Switch platforms do a similar thing with B as the bottom face button and A as the right face button. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the only LEGO Star Wars game that I've never played on a Nintendo platform and I never will, due to how complex the 3DS version to get 100%, most notably with the level challenges which I saw in a YouTube video of that version.
