For the past 20 years, Animal Care Specialist Lora has been sharing Jazz with guests through our Animal Ambassadors program, helping people connect with this charismatic 27-year-old parrot. Jazz has been inspiring curiosity, joy, and care for wildlife wherever she goes.
Jazz’s journey to the Zoo began as a former pet, and over the years, she and her care team have built an incredible bond through patience, trust, and training. She may not be able to fly, but she shows off in her own way, reminding us that every animal (and every person) is unique.
