Cascading filters create some of my favorite fluttery textures. For today's looping exploration, I wanted to explore what the paragraphs modulated filter would sound like in reverse.
To set up the arrangement I added a layer using the Jackson Audio Bloom to add some compression before the Vongon Paragraphs adds some warm, swaying low pass filtering. As a last stop before the Microcosm's looper, the Alexander Super Neo Matic gives a touch of modulation and lofi warmth by way of the vintage/random mode.
Once the stage had been set, a "lead line" is created by the Count to 5 offering a crowded, octave up repeat and then we continue to add layer after layer utilizing the Mood's tape mode, the Hologram Microcosm's Sequence C mode, and the ambient chain is completed by the Strymon Timeline and Bigsky before being sent to the Universal Audio Dream '65 and the Ruby as my amp emulation of choice these days.
I'm still settling in to 2 amp arrangement, but it's a hard pairing to beat.
