This is the longplay of the game Metal Gear Solid, an action/adventure/stealth game produced and distributed by Konami, released in 1998 for Playstation. The game also received a version for Windows, developed by Digital Dialect and published by Microsoft Game Studios.
The story of Metal Gear Solid takes place in the year 2005, southwest of Alaska, in the Bering Sea. It focuses on Solid Snake, a retired soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons disposal facility to neutralize a terrorist threat from FOXHOUND, a special forces unit. Snake must rescue two hostages: the head of DARPA and the president of a weapons manufacturer, in addition to facing the terrorists and preventing them from launching a nuclear attack.
Solid Snake will face an entire army, under the supervision of Colonel Roy Campbell and other characters, through the CODEC (a type of electronic point). Snake also has a vast arsenal of weapons, but it is best to avoid direct combat as much as possible, at least against common enemies.
In this game, the main objective is to get through the places without attracting the attention of guards or being detected by surveillance cameras. Discretion is everything here.
This is the third game in the Metal Gear series to be released, and it was the first to feature three-dimensional graphics, while maintaining 2D gameplay. The narrative is spectacular, with great dialogues, spectacular action scenes and totally unique bosses. Without a doubt, one of the best games ever made in history, with all the genius of Hideo Kojima. I tried to do my best in this video.

This is the longplay of the game Isolated Warrior, a run and gun action game developed by KID and published by VAP, Inc. in Japan (where it was called Max Warrior), by NTVIC in the United States and by Nintendo itself in Europe. This game was released in 1991, exclusively for the NES.
The games story is very simple and straightforward, set in the future, when the player takes on the role of special soldier Max Maverick, who must save the planet from invading aliens. To do so, Max needs to shoot and use bombs on enemies. Max has two long-range weapons: a direct laser that hits enemies from the front and back and a gun that fires shots in various directions. Long-range weapons can be switched between by pressing Select. All weapons receive upgrades when picking up items and being well-equipped is crucial to winning this game. Using bombs, it is also possible to use warps to get extra lives, upgrades for weapons and bombs and to recharge life.
The game uses an isometric perspective, which gives the impression of depth, and has a lot of action and elements on the screen. It was one of the last games for the NES and received very positive reviews. The video was made by playing all the stages (including the 7th, which can only be accessed by playing the entire game without dying) and obtaining the warps.

This is the longplay of the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time, action and beat n up game released in 1989 originally for Arcades and in 1992 received ports for Super Nintendo and Mega Drive.
The Turtles were, along with their master Splinter, watching television when reporter April ONeil then appears on the news. Krang then appears in his giant humanoid outfit and steals the Statue of Liberty, moments before the Destroyer appears on all TV channels snickering at the Turtles.
So the action begins in the streets of New York, with the Turtles having to face the Foot Clan ninjas. And the moment the Turtles confronted Shredder, the villain sent them into another dimension, with the intention that our heroes would be trapped in the past forever. The Turtles will need to beat the Foot Clan ninjas in order to face Shredder and save New York in the present and will go through different periods in the past and even in the future of human history.
The player has four characters to choose from: Leonardo (the leader of the group) uses two swords as a weapon; Donatello (the scientific genius) uses the Bo stick; Michelangelo (the cheerful and funny of the group) uses Nunchakus and finally Raphael (the tough rebel) uses two deadly Sai.
The Arcade version allowed 4 people to play, this one from Super Nintendo allows a maximum of 2 simultaneous players, but Konami did beautiful and added exclusive things in this version, such as the possibility of throwing enemies against the screen and a Boss in the sewer stage). In addition, the first battle against Shredder is extremely creative and exclusive to this version. It is a not too difficult game, but extremely fun, well done, with great gameplay and above average soundtrack. The video was made of 2 players, in Normal and Hard difficulties (in which the true ending is obtained)

This is the longplay of the game Mario and Friends in Volcanic Panic, a hack of Super Mario World developed by CircleFriendo, HamOfJustice, sio-kedelic and released in 2022.
The story involves preventing Kamek from causing a volcanic eruption in the Mushroom Kingdom. To prevent this, Mario joins forces with Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario and Waluigi, each with different abilities that can be switched between during the levels to overcome specific obstacles.
The sprites are well made, the music is customized and the abilities of each character are well done. Its a good hack, ideal for casual play.

This is the longplay of the Super Bomberman game, released for Super Nintendo/Super Famicom in Japan, the United States and Europe. It is also the first four-player game to be released on the Super NES and the first game in the series to be released in Europe keeping the Bomberman title instead of being called Dynablaster.
The game consists of blowing bombs at a board-like location while facing enemies. In this game, Bomberman and Black Bomber are already allies and will run through six themed worlds and in this game it is possible to play alone or in cooperative mode. And theres also Battle Mode, where its possible (through an accessory called Multi-Tap Adapter) to play four players.
This video was made of 2 players, finding all the secret items (which appear in some stages when fulfilling certain prerequisites, including dying a few times, dropping bombs in specific places or even pausing the game).

This is the longplay of the game Streets of Rage (also known as Bare Knuckle in Japan. It is an action/beat n up game, released for Sega Genesis, Master System and Game Gear in 1991. This is the version of Sega Genesis.
The history of the game shows us that a city was once a happy and peaceful place, until one day a powerful criminal organization took over everything and instilled fear, chaos and violence. The leader of this union has managed to remain anonymous, and by far manages to dominate the government and control even the corrupt police. Soon the violence and destruction spread and no one feels safe on the streets anymore.
It is in the face of this chaos that three young policemen have sworn to clean the place. The three characters abandon their careers within the police force that they were, a police force that was contaminated by corruption. Putting their own lives at stake on the Streets of Rage, the characters Adam Hunter (boxer), Axel Stone (mixed martial-artist) and Blaze Fielding (judoka) decide to take justice into their own hands and fight the crime syndicate.
Each character has its strength, jump and speed attributes. It is possible to use bare hands and also weapons, such as bottles, knives and even swords. In addition to physical attacks, our heroes also have a special attack, where they call a police car, which fires with a bazooka or a machine gun, destroying all enemies on the screen and being effective also against bosses. The gameplay is simple, but efficient and the soundtrack is incredible, having been composed by Yuzo Koshiro.
It is an incredible game, which was a huge success and became an absolute beat n ups classic, with an 80s style atmosphere.
The game was played by 2 players, at the normal level.

This is the longplay of the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an action and platform game developed by Konami (under the name Ultra Games) and released for NES in 1989 in the United States, Europe (under the name Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles) and Japan (where it was called Geki Kame Ninja Den).
The TMNT brand was a huge success at the time in various types of media, such as comics, toys, animations and, of course, video games.
The plot of this game involves the four ninja turtles, each with a different weapon and personality, who must go out on the streets of New York to fight the Foot Clan, commanded by Shredder. The Foot Clan kidnapped the reporter April and gains the Life Transformer Gun, a weapon capable of returning Splinter to his human form. To save April, the turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael) will need to fight against ninjas and evil creatures. The game features an aerial perspective (to move towards the different parts of the levels) and a 2D platform. The player controls the turtles and can switch between them at any time during the game, using their primary weapons, as well as secondary weapons (shurikens, boomerangs and the kiai attack, which allows you to fire a wave of power).
The game has a high level of difficulty, there are many discrepancies between the turtles (Donatello is extremely overpowered in this game, while Raphael is harder to hit enemies with), the jumps seem like the turtles are in a place with low gravity and it is not possible to jump to hang on the ladders (you need to climb them from the ground). I made the video trying to explore the game well (except in stage 4, where it is better to follow the right path at once), in addition to having gathered a lot of Kiai Attack to make the journey easier. This game serves more as a curiosity of the time in which it was made than as a game in itself, since much of the experience is somewhat frustrating.

This is the longplay of the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist, an action and beatnup game developed and distributed by Konami, released in 1992 for the Sega Genesis, based on the second Arcade version, which originated a port for the Super Nintendo, in addition to this port for the Sega Genesis.
Here the story begins when reporter April ONeil is doing a news story near the Statue of Liberty, when, in a sudden flash of light, she and her audience witness the Island of Manhattan suddenly beginning to shrink. The leader of the Foot Clan, Shredder, then hijacks the airwaves and announces to the world that this was just a demonstration of the power of the Hyperstone, the treasure of Dimension X. With the Hyperstone in his possession, he now has the power to dominate the entire world. The Turtles have no choice but to go after Shredder and stop him.
The controls are similar to Turtles in Time, but the ability to dash is assigned to a specific button and the player cant throw enemies towards the screen. This version also has almost completely different stages, some different bosses, and faster character speed. Even though it has fewer stages, they are longer and the enemies here are smarter. Its a good game and the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game to be released for the Genesis. The video was made with two playthroughs: one on Normal and one on Hard.

This is the longplay of the game Thor: God of Thunder, released in 2011 for several platforms: PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, 3DS and DS. This is the Nintendo DS version, developed by WayForward and released in September 2011 in the United States, Europe and Australia.
The game stars Thor, god of thunder in Norse mythology and resident of Asgard, the realm of the gods in this mythology. The plot of the game begins with the invasion of Asgard by the Jötun (frost giants from Jotunheim).Thor is training with his brother Loki and a warrior woman named Sif. Their training is interrupted, however, by the arrival of the Frost Giants. While Loki leaves to inform Odin about the invasion, Thor is left to fight alone after Sif is frozen by one of the arriving jötun. After quickly defeating his enemies and freeing Sif, Thor goes to Odins castle to defend Asgard. The invasion is stopped, but Sif is seriously injured in the process. After Thor is denied retribution for the invasion, and Sifs condition, by Odin, Thor disobeys his fathers orders and travels to Niflheim aided by one of Lokis projected clones (who is revealed to be the mastermind behind the invasion). While Thor must protect Asgard, he must also deal with his brothers mistake, which triggered the Jötun invasion.
Throughout the game, we control Thor, who uses his hammer Mjolnir, both at close and long range, in addition to having the strength to lift pillars and other enemies and throw them at others. As he defeats enemies, Thor receives orbs to recover health and magic. With his magic bar full, Thor can summon wind and thunder (using the DS touch screen). In addition to his attacks, Thor also needs to collect runes, which give Thor positive status changes and can be changed depending on the situation, from strengthening Thors attack and defense to improving the strength of Mjolnir.
Thor: God of Thunder was Thors first appearance as the protagonist in a video game. The game was apparently made to take advantage of the release of the film and is one of the good games based on films. It is a good game, with good graphics and soundtrack. This is the longplay for The Punisher, an action beat n roll game developed and published by Capcom, initially released in arcades and later on the Sega Genesis (a version developed by Scuptured Software). This is the Sega Genesis version, released in 1995, with the American version released in February and the European version in April. This game was not released in Japan.
The story revolves around Frank Castle, who seeks revenge after the death of his family. With nothing to lose, Frank takes on the role of the Punisher, a crime fighter on his own, seeking to destroy Kingpin and his criminal reign. In this fight, Frank will count on the help of Nick Fury, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, who also wants to take down Kingpin.
Throughout the game, the heroes will use their fists and a wide variety of weapons to their advantage to rid the city of crime. This Sega Genesis version is a port from the arcades and one would expect it to be inferior, given the consoles limitations. However, the problems here are quite obvious: inferior graphics and gameplay, less enemy variety, and a high difficulty level, as well as a rather unfair timer depending on the difficulty level chosen. This version received mixed reviews, unlike the arcade version, which was a huge success. The video was recorded on Hard mode, which was the maximum we could record.
