This is the longplay of the game Streets of Rage (also known as Bare Knuckle in Japan. It is an action/beat n 'up game, released for Sega Genesis, Master System and Game Gear in 1991. This is the version of Sega Genesis.
The history of the game shows us that a city was once a happy and peaceful place, until one day a powerful criminal organization took over everything and instilled fear, chaos and violence. The leader of this union has managed to remain anonymous, and by far manages to dominate the government and control even the corrupt police. Soon the violence and destruction spread and no one feels safe on the streets anymore.
It is in the face of this chaos that three young policemen have sworn to clean the place. The three characters abandon their careers within the police force that they were, a police force that was contaminated by corruption. Putting their own lives at stake on the Streets of Rage, the characters Adam Hunter (boxer), Axel Stone (mixed martial-artist) and Blaze Fielding (judoka) decide to take justice into their own hands and fight the crime syndicate.
Each character has its strength, jump and speed attributes. It is possible to use bare hands and also weapons, such as bottles, knives and even swords. In addition to physical attacks, our heroes also have a special attack, where they call a police car, which fires with a bazooka or a machine gun, destroying all enemies on the screen and being effective also against bosses. The gameplay is simple, but efficient and the soundtrack is incredible, having been composed by Yuzo Koshiro.
It is an incredible game, which was a huge success and became an absolute beat n 'ups classic, with an 80s style atmosphere.
The game was played by 2 players, at the normal level.

This is the longplay of the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an action and platform game developed by Konami (under the name Ultra Games) and released for NES in 1989 in the United States, Europe (under the name Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles) and Japan (where it was called Geki Kame Ninja Den).
The TMNT brand was a huge success at the time in various types of media, such as comics, toys, animations and, of course, video games.
The plot of this game involves the four ninja turtles, each with a different weapon and personality, who must go out on the streets of New York to fight the Foot Clan, commanded by Shredder. The Foot Clan kidnapped the reporter April and gains the Life Transformer Gun, a weapon capable of returning Splinter to his human form. To save April, the turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael) will need to fight against ninjas and evil creatures. The game features an aerial perspective (to move towards the different parts of the levels) and a 2D platform. The player controls the turtles and can switch between them at any time during the game, using their primary weapons, as well as secondary weapons (shurikens, boomerangs and the kiai attack, which allows you to fire a wave of power).
The game has a high level of difficulty, there are many discrepancies between the turtles (Donatello is extremely overpowered in this game, while Raphael is harder to hit enemies with), the jumps seem like the turtles are in a place with low gravity and it is not possible to jump to hang on the ladders (you need to climb them from the ground). I made the video trying to explore the game well (except in stage 4, where it is better to follow the right path at once), in addition to having gathered a lot of Kiai Attack to make the journey easier. This game serves more as a curiosity of the time in which it was made than as a game in itself, since much of the experience is somewhat frustrating.

Here the story begins when reporter April ONeil is doing a news story near the Statue of Liberty, when, in a sudden flash of light, she and her audience witness the Island of Manhattan suddenly beginning to shrink. The leader of the Foot Clan, Shredder, then hijacks the airwaves and announces to the world that this was just a demonstration of the power of the Hyperstone, the treasure of Dimension X. With the Hyperstone in his possession, he now has the power to dominate the entire world. The Turtles have no choice but to go after Shredder and stop him.
The controls are similar to Turtles in Time, but the ability to dash is assigned to a specific button and the player cant throw enemies towards the screen. This version also has almost completely different stages, some different bosses, and faster character speed. Even though it has fewer stages, they are longer and the enemies here are smarter. Its a good game and the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game to be released for the Genesis. The video was made with two playthroughs: one on Normal and one on Hard.

This is the longplay of the game Thor: God of Thunder, released in 2011 for several platforms: PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, 3DS and DS. This is the Nintendo DS version, developed by WayForward and released in September 2011 in the United States, Europe and Australia.
The game stars Thor, god of thunder in Norse mythology and resident of Asgard, the realm of the gods in this mythology. The plot of the game begins with the invasion of Asgard by the Jötun (frost giants from Jotunheim).Thor is training with his brother Loki and a warrior woman named Sif. Their training is interrupted, however, by the arrival of the Frost Giants. While Loki leaves to inform Odin about the invasion, Thor is left to fight alone after Sif is frozen by one of the arriving jötun. After quickly defeating his enemies and freeing Sif, Thor goes to Odins castle to defend Asgard. The invasion is stopped, but Sif is seriously injured in the process. After Thor is denied retribution for the invasion, and Sifs condition, by Odin, Thor disobeys his fathers orders and travels to Niflheim aided by one of Lokis projected clones (who is revealed to be the mastermind behind the invasion). While Thor must protect Asgard, he must also deal with his brothers mistake, which triggered the Jötun invasion.
Throughout the game, we control Thor, who uses his hammer Mjolnir, both at close and long range, in addition to having the strength to lift pillars and other enemies and throw them at others. As he defeats enemies, Thor receives orbs to recover health and magic. With his magic bar full, Thor can summon wind and thunder (using the DS touch screen). In addition to his attacks, Thor also needs to collect runes, which give Thor positive status changes and can be changed depending on the situation, from strengthening Thors attack and defense to improving the strength of Mjolnir.
Thor: God of Thunder was Thors first appearance as the protagonist in a video game. The game was apparently made to take advantage of the release of the film and is one of the good games based on films. It is a good game, with good graphics and soundtrack. This is the longplay for The Punisher, an action beat n roll game developed and published by Capcom, initially released in arcades and later on the Sega Genesis (a version developed by Scuptured Software). This is the Sega Genesis version, released in 1995, with the American version released in February and the European version in April. This game was not released in Japan.
The story revolves around Frank Castle, who seeks revenge after the death of his family. With nothing to lose, Frank takes on the role of the Punisher, a crime fighter on his own, seeking to destroy Kingpin and his criminal reign. In this fight, Frank will count on the help of Nick Fury, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, who also wants to take down Kingpin.
Throughout the game, the heroes will use their fists and a wide variety of weapons to their advantage to rid the city of crime. This Sega Genesis version is a port from the arcades and one would expect it to be inferior, given the consoles limitations. However, the problems here are quite obvious: inferior graphics and gameplay, less enemy variety, and a high difficulty level, as well as a rather unfair timer depending on the difficulty level chosen. This version received mixed reviews, unlike the arcade version, which was a huge success. The video was recorded on Hard mode, which was the maximum we could record.

The games aesthetic is entirely in black, white, and gray, very reminiscent of the Super Mario Land game for the classic Game Boy, but with the gameplay of the Super Nintendo games. The game is completely linear and, unlike other hacks, it is not possible to return to completed levels, all to keep it as close as possible to the concept of Super Mario Land. The levels also have 5 Yoshi Coins each to be collected, in addition to secrets in pipes.

This is the longplay of the game Sengoku 2, an action and beat n up game produced and distributed by SNK, initially released for the Neo-Geo (Arcade) and then for the Neo-Geo CD, in addition to having appeared in compilations for the PS2.
Sengoku 2 is a sequel to the previous game. The game stars two characters: one is a Ninja and the other is a Cowboy, who need to fight against an evil warlord, who came from the Sengoku period, a period marked by wars and occurring between the 15th and 16th centuries. The evil lord escapes and plans to travel through various periods of time to alter history and dominate the world. At this time, the two heroes need to fight again against this tyrant and with enemies that completely resemble the atmosphere of Ancient Japan.

This is the longplay of the game Mercs, an action and run and gun game initially released in Arcades and soon after on home consoles. This is the Sega Genesis version, released in 1991 in Japan (where it was called Senjō no Ōkami II - 戦場の狼II, Wolf of the Battlefield II), in the United States and in Europe.
The premise of this game is quite simple and straightforward: just move forward (vertically) and place your finger on enemy soldiers. Mercs is similar to the action films that were hugely successful in the 80s, such as Die Hard, Commando and Rambo. This Mega Drive version has two modes: Original and Arcade, each with a lot of differences between them, both in gameplay and in story. In Original mode, the story revolves around the fight against a dictatorial government, which is assembling a powerful military arsenal made up of long-range missiles and you need to prevent these weapons from being used for evil. Arcade mode is, as the name says, completely faithful to the original version, whose story revolves around the kidnapping of a former American president, who was taken hostage to Africa and, due to political reasons, the government of the United States Unidos cannot act in the area, so it delegates the duty of rescuing him to you.
In the game, as the title itself says, we control a mercenary and need to shoot everywhere and eliminate enemies to complete the mission. In Original mode, the mission begins alone, but the player encounters more mercenaries, each with a different weapon, who can pick up items and buy upgrades to increase the characters life, weapon power and speed, as well as items of protection. Making upgrades well distributed and exploring well is essential. In Arcade mode, the game is much more direct, with the same plot as the original game and controlling only one mercenary, in addition to not being able to buy items, as they are all spread out in the scenarios, including an exclusive weapon. In both modes, it is possible to drive vehicles.
The game is really cool, even more so in the Mega Drive version because it includes two different modes, it has good graphics and an adequate soundtrack for a game of this type. The only negative point is that this version of the game is exclusively Single Player, unlike Arcade, where you can play multiplayer.

This is the longplay of the game Mega Man X5, an action and platform game developed and distributed by Capcom, having been released in 2000 for Playstation in 2000 in Japan and in 2001 in the United States and Europe. The game was also released for PC in 2002.
The story of Mega Man X5 takes place after the events of X4. Here, the story begins when a new scheme to destroy the Maverick Hunters is planned by Sigma, who has been resurrected again (as in X4, it is unknown who revived him or how he did it). Sigma, after conducting research into the origin and design of Zero, decides to discover how to unleash the true power of the red Hunter, hoping to destroy X in the process. Sigma attacks the Maverick Hunters directly, tending to be defeated. When he does so, he spreads the Sigma Virus around the Earth, throwing it into chaos. Meanwhile, a Reploid mercenary named Dynamo is hired by Sigma to make the space colony Eurasia crash into Earth. The Hunters only have 16 hours to avoid impact. With the mission of preventing the collision, the Hunters use two attack options. The first option is to fire a powerful cannon called Enigma at the space colony, hoping to vaporize it, and the second is to launch a space shuttle with a pilot on board. To maximize their chances, X and Zero are sent to collect parts of the two devices. The parts needed to upgrade the Enigma and the space shuttle are held by 8 bosses, and X and Zero must defeat them to obtain the parts. To complicate matters, Dynamo attacks the Hunters base repeatedly throughout the game, forcing X and Zero to waste precious time fighting him. Here, the heroes must practically race against time, before it is too late.
In the game, we have the possibility to play as Mega Man X and Zero, this time being able to switch between them. The graphics and gameplay have been improved. New armors have also been added, such as the Fourth Armor (allows you to charge the bosses weapons), Falcon Armor (allows X to fly for a few seconds, but you cant charge the bosses weapons), Gaia Armor (allows X to step on spikes and have a charged shot in less than 2 seconds, but disables all the bosses weapons while wearing it) and the Ultimate Armor, while Zero can only equip the Black Armor (which improves all of his stats). There are also hearts and subtanks in the game.
This is an improvement version, made by acediez, who sought to correct the problems of the original version, which did not allow sharing hearts between X and Zero, in addition to changing some of Zeros attack commands and using some music that was hidden from the original version. Here, the original names of the bosses were also kept instead of the American names (which referenced Gunsn Roses). I decided to make the video in two playthroughs: one entirely with X and the other with Zero (only using X to get the armors and hearts). The video was made by getting the best ending for each character, in addition to all the items and the Ultimate and Black Armors. I also included English subtitles for the opening and ending songs.

This is the longplay of Jurassic Park, an open-world action-adventure game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, based on the 1990 novel and 1993 film of the same name. It was developed and published by Ocean Software in 1993 in North America and PAL regions, and published by Jaleco in 1994 in Japan.
In the game, we control paleontologist Alan Grant and must escape from Isla Nublar, the place where a prototype of a Jurassic zoo was made, but it didnt work out very well. Full of dinosaurs of all kinds, everything in this game means danger.
Controlling Alan, we must collect ID cards, as well as dinosaur eggs, in order to escape the island. To do so, he will have some weapons, such as a stun gun, shotgun, gas, steel balls and missiles. The game has two gameplay styles: one in a top-down view, in the style of A Link to The Past, and another in first-person, reminiscent of Wolfenstein 3D. The game has stereo and Dolby Surround soundtracks. Its a pretty insane game and the fact that there are no passwords or saves makes the game even more cruel to players. The first-person sessions dont have a map to help, which makes it even more difficult, and theyre also extremely slow and bad. The game may have had revolutionary touches in its time, but in my opinion, the Jurassic Park game for the SNES has aged like milk.
