Logray was the chief shaman of the Ewoks of Bright Tree Village. When he was young he served as the apprentice to the shaman Makrit, and witnessed the mysterious disappearances of several woklings. Logray learned that Makrin planned to sacrifice the young ones to appease the Gorax of Endor. Logray helped free the woklings, and Makrit was ironically eaten by the Gorax instead. By the time of the Battle of Endor he was sixty nine years old and shaman of the tribe, but the invasion of the Empire caused doubt in his belief of their god, the Golden One. When C-3PO appeared with the Rebel strike team, Logray knew it couldn’t truly be their god, but he used the droid to help reignite the faith and hope of his village. The scheme worked, and the Ewoks fought with their new friends against the Empire. Logray was present for the marriage of Han Solo and Leia Organa shortly after, and was also forced to help defend his village from the Imperial Remnant in the days leading up to the Battle of Jakku. #starwars
