This was my second walk of the week in Snowdonia (Eryri) and the first in which I experienced significant rainfall, which would remain for the rest of the week.
Following a suggestion from the warden at the bunkhouse in Betws-y-Coed, I'd decided to stay very local; leaving the car alone to set off on foot. Up in to the woods to find Llyn Elsi. Then over the A5 to find Swallow Falls on my way back.
A good outing for a very wet day.
