Another walk upon the Mendip Hills. This one starts at East Harptree Woods and soon passes Smitham Chimney (in an area formerly home to lead mining) on the way to Harptree Combe. Out the other end of the combe and head east through to village towards Coley and Litton, where I pass two reservoirs (upper and lower). My return route looks to rejoin the Monarch's Way It was about 9 miles in all, even though I'd planned to walk about 8 miles.
