PMDD symptoms are common and often devastating, yet so many women are still struggling to be listened to and be diagnosed. Access to safe and usually effective hormone treatments is so difficult too for so many women - resulting in needless suffering.

In this week’s podcast, I speak with Jenny, who spent years being inappropriately prescribed antidepressants, not being believed by many specialists and searching for answers before understanding the roles her changing hormone levels were having on her symptoms and mental health.

Her story is a powerful reminder that hormones affect far more than our periods, and that women deserve to be listened to, believed and offered informed choices about hormone treatments.
