In this Live with Joan, Joan offers mini readings for our viewers’ animals that are having behavioral challenges, household dynamics or relationship issues.
First was a Yorkie named Ari. He is having issues with being reactive when guests come over and has had a history of nipping. Joan discovered an experience that Ari had when he was young that has stayed with him and still triggers him. Next was Skylar, a very smart Bernese Mountain dog who is afraid of going places, especially into buildings. Joan discovered an experience where she had been terrified by a loud clapping sound that echoed. Skylar's people confirmed she was terrified of sounds. Skylar's people will help her unwind that fear. Benji, a mini Aussie Shepherd experiences anxiety on walks with other family members. Joan discovered that without the matriarch dog walking with them anymore, Benji isn't sure of his "position" in the pack and on the walks. And, lastly, there are the two feline brothers, Buddha and Kona, who are not getting along. Joan sensed a physical change in Buddha as well as a passivity and it not only confused Kona, the physical change is upsetting him. The cat's person confirmed that Buddha is on medication.
In doing these readings, Joan shares what she sees and, in doing so, supports the person to find a solution for the issues that they might not have seen before. It is amazing to watch people have that “aha moment” when they hear what their animal has to say.
