The tiger is one of the most iconic animals on earth, but the largest of the big cats is on the brink of extinction, with only about 3,900 left in the wild on a mere 4% of their former range of habitat. I think one of the Co-Founders of Panthera, Dr. Alan Rabinowitz, said it best, “The energy in a jungle with big predators is a very, very different energy, and when you truly merge with it and feel it, it’s not a dangerous energy. It’s not a negative energy - completely the opposite. It’s this huge, positive, overwhelming force which humbles you, makes you realize that there are things much greater on the Earth than you.”
