Hey guys, still mind blown that I finally caught one! I wanted to make the video as fast as possible for a 3-shiny video so heres some information that I left out:
I found Pokerus (~1/21,845) FIVE times during these Larvitar hunts, yet shinies (1/8192) only three times, pretty interesting right? ;)
I couldnt have done it without all of the support on Twitch, Twitter, Reddit, and of course, here on YouTube as well. Thank you all so much for supporting me through kind words on this hunt, and for picking on me which made me want to end it sooner! Some of my favorites are Larvitar after over 100,000, is your Larvitar running? Well you better go catch it!, and I h8 u. Good stuff!
Id really appreciate if you all could watch until the end, I tried to make it as entertaining as possible the whole way through so you have a long time to hunt without needing to change the video. Itll help my video through YouTubes algorithm if you dont skip around, however I understand if you do :)
Please share this video! On top of the TEN MONTHS it took to finally catch this shiny, it also took quite a few hours to get the editing right. After such a long journey, it would mean a lot if this video did well enough to get into my top 10 most viewed!
