This was my major Safari Week target for this year, and I'm so glad to finally share this compilation of all the phases with you guys! It honestly didn't take that long all but one of the phases were under odds, and the four systems helped the encounter speed drastically! During this hunt I set 3 new records for myself: Shortest hunt (4 or 1 RE), most encounters in a day (~6700), and most shinies find in a day (4). Next year I'm going for Bagon :)

Hey guys, still mind blown that I finally caught one! I wanted to make the video as fast as possible for a 3-shiny video so heres some information that I left out:
I found Pokerus (~1/21,845) FIVE times during these Larvitar hunts, yet shinies (1/8192) only three times, pretty interesting right? ;)
I couldnt have done it without all of the support on Twitch, Twitter, Reddit, and of course, here on YouTube as well. Thank you all so much for supporting me through kind words on this hunt, and for picking on me which made me want to end it sooner! Id really appreciate if you all could watch until the end, I tried to make it as entertaining as possible the whole way through so you have a long time to hunt without needing to change the video. Please share this video! On top of the TEN MONTHS it took to finally catch this shiny, it also took quite a few hours to get the editing right. After such a long journey, it would mean a lot if this video did well enough to get into my top 10 most viewed!

The Badge Quest is over after about 8 years. I started hunting the starter on July 27, 2013 and have now finished this final hunt on February 10, 2021. This Pichu took 17,001 eggs & ~567 hours and is my longest hunt in terms of hours to date. Absolutely worth it. For those interested, this Pichu cannot migrate, but I don’t migrate my shinies anyways so personally I’m not affected.
A lot of you already have a problem with this hunt before even seeing it. At the end of the day, I did this hunt for fun for myself, it doesnt affect anyone else so if you have a problem with it then you should re-evaluate whats important. Its an 11+ year old video game.
Here is the cheat needed to allow Pichu to breed, for those interested. Press L to activate, if the Pichu are breeding then it works! (Not sure if you can MM this or not, I assume you would be able to with a male foreign parent or ditto)
