Shasta County Sheriff Michael Johnson will present details of the proposed Corrections and Rehabilitation Campus and answer questions from the public.
The project has drawn opposition from nearby South Redding residents, who have raised concerns about public safety, flooding, wildlife habitat and the possibility of a future jail at the 90-acre site.
The community meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Shasta County Board of Supervisors Chambers.
