Dashcam video shows armed law enforcement officers riding in the bed of a passerby’s pickup while responding to the hostage standoff at Gumboot Campground in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Two U.S. Forest Service employees were later released safely after authorities said they had been zip-tied and held at gunpoint for hours.
