Shasta County’s long-running Stand Against Stigma campaign has paused its work after changes to how the state distributes prevention funding.
For nearly two decades, Stand Against Stigma has focused on educating the community about mental health and encouraging people to seek help without fear or shame. Shasta County Health and Human Services declined an interview request but provided a written statement explaining the pause.
