A single-engine aircraft crash-landed near the playground at Byars Dowdy Elementary School in Lebanon, Tennessee, according to the Lebanon Police Department.
Police said children were on campus at the time, but no one was on the playground or near the aircraft when it came down. No injuries were reported in the department’s initial update.
Emergency crews responded Tuesday to secure the area. FOX 17 News is working to learn whether school operations, transportation or after-school activities will be affected.
