A Davidson County man faces two felony charges after authorities say he attacked his stepbrother with a hammer and stabbed his stepfather during an Aug. 17 confrontation at a home in Nashville’s Donelson area.
According to an arrest affidavit, 45-year-old Reginald Eugene Ward allegedly kicked in his stepbrother’s bedroom door and struck him in the head with a hammer before stabbing his stepfather when he tried to intervene.
Ward was booked into the Downtown Detention Center on Aug. 22. Court records also show prior felony convictions and additional open cases.
