The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meets in New York, on Monday, March 12, to discuss the situation in the Middle East with the focus on the resolution 2401.
The Council will be briefed by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on the implementation of resolution 2401 (2018). Adopted on 24 February, the resolution demands that the parties in Syria adhere to a 30-day ceasefire to enable humanitarian aid delivery without delay.
