As a special bonus, Allen of GameGrooves had asked me if I could fill in for the upcoming GameGrooves tribute album LIVE and LEARN (specifically the LEARN, or Dark Side) to cover this insane title theme! With just 1-2 weeks of work I did my best to cover this monumental song and opted for a heavier take on the classic anthem to really distinguish my version (and to get somewhat in range)! This cover especially marked a point where I recognize I need to spend a lot more time on mixing, and you'll note the video mix may be just slightly different from the album one due to me still wanting to make changes.
Beyond that, I always think fondly of my old Sonic Adventure 2 Medley with @jonathanparecki and how this song, perhaps campy, is really about working together with unexpected friends and it couldn't be more fitting! I even got to perform this track at MAGFest with my bud @Gunderslam so some of you might even know this track already!
