Moving through some of the older cover ideas I've had, but never pulled off, A Thousand Miles is one of the most catchy songs I think I've ever heard. When this song came out, I remember hearing kids in my piano class all learning that famous lick over and over. The song itself is a sweet pop song, maybe even an anthem for distanced relationships, but maybe 3-4 years ago I had a great instrumental arrangement in mind that just needed more firepower in the production let alone vocal work! Working on this one with Tera, all the way back in November 2020, I think I had a ton of work cut out for me to sit in a good range and find solid harmonies! Naturally I also had to recreate that insanely distinct music video, so I got the GoPro and Green-Screen going here!

As far as the production goes, this is one of the first times I had that taken care of by my friend and insanely talented and working metalhead @TreWatsonMusic who was kind enough to give their magic to this track! I can't tell you how much confidence I have in putting this out thanks to them and I will be requesting you ALL subscribe if not outright commission your next production to Tre ASAP. I hope to get this and a few other tracks distributed soon, once I sort out a lot of album art for singles, since this one especially cooks!
