In this video, I take a plain gray studio backdrop and turn it into a cinematic, Little Mermaid–inspired fantasy fashion scene. Starting with a simple seamless background, the shoot is built step by step using gels, projections, reflections, and layered lighting to create depth, color, and atmosphere. You’ll see how inexpensive props like mylar and streamers can add texture, bokeh, and visual interest, and how five carefully placed lights work together to shape the scene.
