Litex Utility 56" industrial ceiling fan in white, shown on a generic 4 speed slide control for a better speed range this time. This one has been on the remake list for SO long, although at this point a lot of the remake list is ancient. Trying to get back around to some of them again, but of course new finds always take priority. After working with so many better industrials through the years, I expected to put this up and be very unimpressed. Surprisingly, I kind of stand by these getting the job done decently well for what they are. I'm not saying it's great in any regard, and I wouldn't say I'd choose it over something like a Hampton Bay industrial for a cheaper commercial fan, but there is definitely airflow happening and it's generally better than what I would've expected or remembered at this point. Admittedly, I will always be a sucker for a curved blade industrial in any scenario, so it has that going for it. These are also slightly childhood, I guess pretty late childhood, but three painted red were added to a tiny local ice cream shop somewhere in the mid-2000s and it was a pretty cool install. Massive overkill with three fans, probably only needed one for the size of the space. Place closed and is long gone now, unfortunately. This time around it is much-better balanced without bearing issues; as you can see the spin down goes for awhile. It's got a little bit of motor hum, not the worst. Of course this one lived in the old garage install for awhile and I got it specifically for that, so it was never in great physical shape and has never been fully cleaned up. I gave it a quick wipe down on the worst parts for this video, so it's looking pretty good here.
