You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it.
In this episode, Noah has come out of the ark and god is feeling really sorry and promises not to flood everything again but he might need a reminder to jog his memory ... just in case
Noah discovers homebrew which has unfortunate circumstances for someone but as this is the perfect word of god it isn't necessarily who you would expect.
