Welcome to part fifty, the final part in this series of videos in which I take the advice of all of those Christian fundamentalists and read my bible - literally
You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it.
In this episode Joseph goes back to Canaan to bury Jacob, his father, in the cave of the patriarchs, but like with everything in this narrative, he goes too far, literally.
With him he takes just about everyone in Egypt and, if this narrative is to be believed, everything goes off without a hitch. Of course other accounts tell a different, if not rather amusing tale.
He then returns back to Egypt and spends the rest of his days telling everyone how one day he will return back to Canaan as his father had prophesised.
And then he died.
And he was buried in Egypt
