Welcome to part seventeen in this series of videos in which I take the advice of all of those Christian fundamentalists and read my bible - literally
You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it.
In this episode The Lord turns up and makes Abram an offer that is just too good to be true
He gets a new name, a whole heap of land and he finds out that he will become a father of nations when his octogenarian wife, and half-sister gives birth to his son who will have descendants who will be kings
There is however a catch that might just be a deal breaker.
Fortunately its not going to cost him an arm and a leg but it might make his eyes water
This episode is a little longer than the previous ones and at one point I thought that I might have to chop the end off
As we shall find out, there is a certain irony about that.
