I wanted to see how well this $40 radio would actually work, so I tested it with a few different drones in D8 and D16 mode. Some worked great, but at least one was terrible! Which do you think it was? Details below:

The radio I usually use is a Taranis Q X7. I have upgraded it with HAL gimbals and Crossfire (which required a tricky internal modification). I like my radio, but I don't recommend it to people any more because FrSky is trying to push their new ACCESS protocol and drop support for whoops, D8, and all non-FrSky-manufactured devices. Isn't it ironic that "ACCESS" is all about restricting access to which drones and receivers you can use? I guess FrSky doesn't understand just how many people bought their radios in order to fly those drones. :-/
