A local fisherman caught this impressive Lion's Mane Jellyfish during a fishing trip. He knew we had a large jellyfish husbandry section and brought it to us. It is one of the largest species of jellyfish and common to UK waters.
It has a bell diameter of approximately 30 to 40cm. The largest recorded was 2.3 metres in diameter with over 30m tentacles!
