You may have noticed our penguins incubating some eggs in the Kingdom of Ice, so our keepers have been in to take a closer look.
Thermal imaging is used to check the temperature of the egg and a process called candling is used to shine a light through the egg to look for signs of chick development.
Towards the end of the incubation period, we also check for signs of pipping, the process of a chick breaking through the shell.
Time will tell if we will soon hear the pitter patter of tiny orange feet.... we've got our flippers crossed!
