Today was a big day for these three little lion cubs! Izwi, Ilola and Tadala took their first steps out into their public-facing habitat to greet their adoring fans, with Great Aunt Jasiri and Grandma Lina right by their sides. There was plenty of running, jumping, chasing, wresting, tail-biting, and of course, cuteness, as they explored the habitat.
You might get to see these little ones for yourself on your next visit. Pro tip: the cubs are early birds! They'll continue spending time in the habitat for a few hours each day (weather and comfort levels pending), between bottle feedings.
