Jeff Hijlkema | Lingering Hybrid Orchestral Build-Up // Original Epic music @jeffhijlkema | Uploaded June 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Wanted to keep things calm and small, as I intended when starting this composition, but again ending up bringing on all the troops! The lingering melodic main theme (A-A'-A" structure, first played by the bansuri) is exposed three times, but orchestrated and instrumentated little different each time, all to serve the overall build up.
The piece starts with a short introduction, that also has a build up atmosphere, but with a simple descending piano line.
I used the warm and round Ventus Bansuri for the main melody and the Ventus Ocarina for it's little echo, next to a load of Spitfire Audio orchestral instruments. The piano I used is 'The Grandeur' by Native Instruments (a grand piano with the finest velocity I think).
The accompanying video I compiled uses free drone footage taken from Pexels.com.
Hope you enjoy this firm build-up. And stay tuned, I'll be uploading music every few weeks.

Be well,
