after the last "Axe FX Standard through Torpedo" video I thought I'd show you what good IRs can do to your (supposedly) shitty old POD Pro.
Everyone hates on that old POD, but the amps sound much better than most people are aware of, what sucks hard are the POD's cabs....
the remedy in this case is just not using the cab section at all but just running the POD's amp into Two Notes Wall of Sound III plugin with a nice Mesa IR.
What you're hearing is a mix of the POD's 5150 and Rectifier emulations (criminal and diamondplate), directly into ProTools and the WoSIII plugin for the cab IR.
no post-processing.
