I was just playing around with single coils into the JVM (I rarely ever play that Strat because...you know...humbuckers :D ), but the tone was so inspiring that I ended up with a quick little jam.
Granted, the improv solo sucks balls and is quite off in places, but I was really just enjoying the tone, didn't feel like I had to do a second take, lol.
anyways, it's an American Standard Strat with Lace Sensor Gold Pickups intro the JVM's OD1 Channel
Orange mode for rhythms, red mode for solo (there's also an od808 on the solo).
The cab was a Soldano 4x12, the V30 speaker was miked with a single sm57, no post processing (except for some added Delay on the solo).
some times it's just gotta be those old Strat into Marshall metal tones :)
