To entice more people to travel by bus in suburban London there is to be an orbital network of suburban limited-stop buses linking many town centres, transport hubs and other popular destinations.

To increase their public visibility these buses will be given a special red and white livery and operate under the brand name of Superloop

In addition, some existing radial limited-stop buses are to be re-branded as part of the Superloop network.

(orbital - seven bus routes that encircle London in an almost complete ring, with easy interchange with adjacent Superloop buses and other transports)

(radial - three existing bus routes that travel north-south or east-west from outer suburban locations to destinations nearer central London)

Superloop buses will only call at a limited number of busier bus stop which will be clearly identified with a special logo and Superloop branding on the bus stop flag.

Experience with existing limited-stop bus services has shown that they do attract more passengers, mainly because people value faster travel (or, to say this in another way, people value shorter journey times).
