Ayyyyeee guess who’s back in her Star Wars hole? And does she catch up on SW media she’s intended to see but hasn’t yet? No you idiot she rewatches Rebels and Clone Wars for the millionth goddamn time because she’s a predictable bitch.
Well the hype for Mandalorian got to me and it got me hyper fixating on this franchise again. Taking advantage of that, my friend Faben and I finished up on Rebels together (as we started it a while back but took a long break from it) and, since it admittedly has been a minute since I had sat down and rewatched a good portion of the later half of the show, I honestly forgot just how good this show really was at times. Like I always knew it but coming back to it as an adult it really is something else. This show also means a lot to me, it’s what got me into this franchise to begin with! Little baby me who had Disney XD on all the time due to Gravity Falls stumbled upon this show having absolutely ZERO knowledge of Star Wars, but just became so invested with the characters and story. And all these years later, it’s still peak Star Wars for me. It embraces the franchise so much while also expanding upon it in so many interesting ways. I just love it so much.
I realized I haven't made a proper edit for this show since 2017, back when I first caught up on it, and I wanted to change that! Most of the time when I edit Rebels, its just the Ahsoka and Vader stuff, which is excellent! But I do think I have neglected the other incredible parts of this show, and mainly what makes it so great to begin with: the Ghost crew. And yes, while there is a little bit of Ahsoka in here, I really made sure to keep this on the main cast. It took me a while to nail on a song, but I remembered this one that I have been wanting to use for years but couldn’t think of a solid idea for it. And when I relistened to it, it just seemed like a perfect match! I love the feel of it. This song is about hope and change, which is also the core themes of the show. It starts a little somber, but ends on a high note, and I wanted to really capture that. How hope and love and family gets these characters through to the end and you leave off with some wonderful character arcs. In the end, this might be one of my favorite videos yet. Which I’m not sure what it says about me when now three of my favorite videos are Star Wars related heufhrene. This is also my first time deciding to use aurebesh as not just a fun add on with my watermark, but actively apart of the typography! With other videos, I like to use the fonts associated with those official properties as apart of my typography if that’s an option for me (see my Bumblebee video). And considering Star Wars has a number of fonts and text associated with it, I’m surprised I haven’t thought of doing it before! But I’m glad I finally decided to do it now.
The Ahsoka series comes out this year and while I am excited to see more of my favorite girl, I’m mostly excited to see Sabine and Ezra again. I miss them so fucking much and I’ve been DYING to know what has happened to Ezra for so long now. I realize this is what old school SW fans must’ve felt after ESB. Except for years it seemed like nothing would come of Ezra’s disappearance. I’m so happy that storyline is getting a conclusion. I want to see my little boy (here he comes)!!! Anyways, enjoy the video!

Continuing the trend of angsty lesbians, I bring you....a new ship because dang I love this??? Who knows how much I’ll be editing them in the future but just know I’m highkey into it. Also officially got two more characters off my bucket list! Anyways this is for Carries (KitsuKix) Valentines day MEP with the theme of couples longing to be together. Even with so much on my plate, I just couldnt help myself and had to take the opportunity to edit these two and this song!
STORY:
I think the story can be interpreted in different ways, but personally the way I see it is how Chang’e and Tara are both goddesses in love with only each other for company. But then something happens to Tara (this is the part that’s mostly up for interpretation) and it leaves Chang’e all alone. As she remembers their time together, she begins to miss her dearly, until one day when Tara returns to see her again one final time.")

I do two things during Halloween: a character questioning what their reality is or a character fighting their supernatural monstrous urges that risks the lives of their loved ones. Because I. Am. A. Basic. Bitch.
Another year, another horror MEP hosted by FableSecrets. And boy this one was FUN! Our challenge was to edit still images, which means I got to go ham on recoloring and reconstructing. I pretty much knew all the elements I wanted to add in for this part but I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to add them all in due to time. Sure enough! I actually was able to fit everything in so yay me! I really like working with this style a lot. I have a full length project in the works with this style too. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish that sooner rather than later. Anyways, that’s all I got. Enjoy!

Story:
Queens Marina and Odette are caught in a tide when a neighboring kingdom declares war on them. Marina decides to be lead the army directly on the battlefield, leaving Odette in charge of the kingdom while she’s gone. But things already start to look dire as the opposing side comes knocking on their doorstep the next morning.")
