Y’all can blame @DreamingWithDragons for this one folks.
My friend Sophie has been begging me to watch this show since literally the moment we met, and I finally FINALLY got around to watching it. And it not only lived up to the hype, but it also, in fact, exceeded any and all expectations I had of this show. I had mentioned in the description of my Lucifer video from last year that I missed these fun and ridiculous shows with poignant character writing that sorta eventually lost its mark once they went on for too long. But Buffy managed to be a solid run for 7 straight seasons, which makes it not just my new favorite show in genre tv, but also I think the best one.
So of course with all of those feelings I NEEDED to make a video for it. Not only that but I actually finished this video a while ago but saved it specifically for Halloween. I knew I was gonna be, once again, too busy for a crossover video (plus I didn’t have a ton of inspiration to do one) and since I like doing at least one Halloween canon edit every year, seemed only fitting I save the Buffy edit (the most Halloweeny show there is) for the big day!
A fun story for this song choice btw, I picked it when I had just finished season 2 and the lyric “what happened to the angel I once knew” sold me immediately. And then I kept watching the show and realized this song was fucking MADE FOR IT. The longer I watched the more I kept finding lyric matches, it was truly unbelievable. Also man these more upbeat edits have been so fun the past few years, and each new one I make just becomes a new favorite video of mine! I’m SUPER proud of how this turned out! Anyways that’s all for now! Enjoy!

PS: Sophie made a comment about how most of this video is from season 6, and I followed that point with “it’s the best season for editing, but the worst season to watch” (because of how depressing it is lol)

Continuing the trend of angsty lesbians, I bring you....a new ship because dang I love this??? Who knows how much I’ll be editing them in the future but just know I’m highkey into it. Also officially got two more characters off my bucket list! Anyways this is for Carries (KitsuKix) Valentines day MEP with the theme of couples longing to be together. Even with so much on my plate, I just couldnt help myself and had to take the opportunity to edit these two and this song!
STORY:
I think the story can be interpreted in different ways, but personally the way I see it is how Chang’e and Tara are both goddesses in love with only each other for company. But then something happens to Tara (this is the part that’s mostly up for interpretation) and it leaves Chang’e all alone. As she remembers their time together, she begins to miss her dearly, until one day when Tara returns to see her again one final time.")

I do two things during Halloween: a character questioning what their reality is or a character fighting their supernatural monstrous urges that risks the lives of their loved ones. Because I. Am. A. Basic. Bitch.
Another year, another horror MEP hosted by FableSecrets. And boy this one was FUN! Our challenge was to edit still images, which means I got to go ham on recoloring and reconstructing. I pretty much knew all the elements I wanted to add in for this part but I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to add them all in due to time. Sure enough! I actually was able to fit everything in so yay me! I really like working with this style a lot. I have a full length project in the works with this style too. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish that sooner rather than later. Anyways, that’s all I got. Enjoy!
STORY:
A young vampire is desperate to find a way to cure herself, as she is haunted by her intrusive thoughts and her hunger to attack her human lover, someone she loved long before she became a vampire and someone she’s desperate to return to. Eh leave it to me to cram everything in and stray from the theme XD. I was a very last minute backup and I didn’t even know what I wanted to do for this part until literally two days ago. Also this is one of three projects I’m working on with the theme “leaders dealing with the threat of war”. Sue me I guess XD. (I’ve been watching too much Merlin)
Story:
Queens Marina and Odette are caught in a tide when a neighboring kingdom declares war on them. Marina decides to be lead the army directly on the battlefield, leaving Odette in charge of the kingdom while she’s gone. But things already start to look dire as the opposing side comes knocking on their doorstep the next morning.")
