Me after season 1: “Ya know like I get why JayVik is a ship, but I never really got into it. They’re fine”
Me after season 2: “Oh…oh no”
I’m many months late but I’m here to join the “emotionally devastated by Arcane season 2” gang! This show you guys. This *fucking* show. The way it just WRECKS me and STICKS with me. I’ll watch good shows but sometimes they don’t get the brain rot going. And funnily enough, Arcane season 1 was kinda like that. I loved it, I thought it was incredible, but I also never did hit a hyperfixation with it. AND THEN!!! THIS SEASON HAPPENED!!! And now I’m thinking about it ALL THE TIME. And lemme tell you, when I was plotting for a potential season 2 video, before I even watched the season, JayVik came nowhere NEAR that possibility. As stated in the above quote, they were fine but I needed more if I was gonna jump onto the ship. AND HO BOY DID THIS SEASON DELIVER ON THAT. The fact that cosmically speaking Jayce is the oNLY ONE who can remind Viktor of who he is. The fact that Jayce says “I just want my partner back”. Guys I am not a functioning human being even just writing this. When a bond is so sacred it transcends TIME AND SPACE. Hey Arcane, fuck you. Who said you could combine all of my favorite troupes into one relationship??? And with that it was decided. A video NEEDED to be made.
I will fully admit this video was a tad unconventional for me. For starters, when it comes to shipping videos I tend to lean towards songs that are inherently romantic in their lyrics no matter the genre. I also like to pick songs that are like stuck in my head and I’m currently in the mood to constantly listen to it (since I have to when making an edit lol). This song fit neither into those categories. Oh don’t get me wrong, I really like this song. But it was one of those songs where I stumbled upon it when thinking up an Arcane video and the lyrics IMMEDIATELY clicked for me. I will say there was a point where I got a little stumped and didn’t work on the video for a while (granted other factors were involved, i got on a MAJOR art kick and was always choosing to do that instead of editing, also i got sick for a month so that didn’t help lol), but the Jayvik brainrot never went anywhere and once I did get my editing kick back I felt inspired enough to edit the video again. I was NOT gonna let this be a project that sits in my files for 4 years. But yeah that’s about it! Enjoy!

Continuing the trend of angsty lesbians, I bring you....a new ship because dang I love this??? Who knows how much I’ll be editing them in the future but just know I’m highkey into it. Also officially got two more characters off my bucket list! Anyways this is for Carries (KitsuKix) Valentines day MEP with the theme of couples longing to be together. Even with so much on my plate, I just couldnt help myself and had to take the opportunity to edit these two and this song!
STORY:
I think the story can be interpreted in different ways, but personally the way I see it is how Chang’e and Tara are both goddesses in love with only each other for company. But then something happens to Tara (this is the part that’s mostly up for interpretation) and it leaves Chang’e all alone. As she remembers their time together, she begins to miss her dearly, until one day when Tara returns to see her again one final time.")

I do two things during Halloween: a character questioning what their reality is or a character fighting their supernatural monstrous urges that risks the lives of their loved ones. Because I. Am. A. Basic. Bitch.
Another year, another horror MEP hosted by FableSecrets. And boy this one was FUN! Our challenge was to edit still images, which means I got to go ham on recoloring and reconstructing. I pretty much knew all the elements I wanted to add in for this part but I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to add them all in due to time. Sure enough! I actually was able to fit everything in so yay me! I really like working with this style a lot. I have a full length project in the works with this style too. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish that sooner rather than later. Anyways, that’s all I got. Enjoy!

Eh leave it to me to cram everything in and stray from the theme XD. I was a very last minute backup and I didn’t even know what I wanted to do for this part until literally two days ago. Also this is one of three projects I’m working on with the theme “leaders dealing with the threat of war”. Sue me I guess XD. (I’ve been watching too much Merlin)
Story:
Queens Marina and Odette are caught in a tide when a neighboring kingdom declares war on them. Marina decides to be lead the army directly on the battlefield, leaving Odette in charge of the kingdom while she’s gone. But things already start to look dire as the opposing side comes knocking on their doorstep the next morning.")
