If you got stuck in the mission with Lesli and can’t get fireflies because they somehow keep getting away and barely respawn, here’s a shortcut.
Get to the bridge next to Lesli’s house and save your game. Then load that save file and it will boot you with a bunch of fireflies spawned next to the bridge. Catch as many as you can by sneaking and when they dissappear, get next to the bridge again, save your game and load it. Fireflies will respawn again.

Also if the fireflies don’t trigger the dialogue with leslie. I mean if Lesli doesn’t react to you releasing the fireflies, maybe it’s because you haven’t completed the Find the Fairy Fountain mission and the Flown the coop side quest. I hope this video helped!!!!
