If I could leave a message to the world, it would be this: STOP the wars! Stop the hatred! Stop the cultish behaviors that divide us! Stop clinging to religion that causes all this. People like Abe Lincoln, Mark Twain, Ulyssess Grant, James Madison, Karl Marx and so many others warned us against this dark cloud of religion that has fooled us into believing we are better than the other person and somehow our religion allows us to take peoples land and life. No! COme on, we can't be that stupid. Jesus said treat others the way you want to be treated. He said "Blessed are the Peacemakers..." He said give away all your possessions to the poor and needy..." This world has no room for billionaires who do not want to help others out of their poverty. The governments of the world are supposed to be helping the peoples of their nations succeed for the benefit of the nation. They are not to be using that money to divide us and dump it into a political machine that feeds wars.
Religion is the root cause of so much human suffering. It has to stop. The three main religions have wreaked havoc and misery upon the world. Christianity, Islam and Judaism need to stop trying to force their belief systems down other people's or nations throats. I highly doubt if God wants to see a "Greater Israel' by means of killing untold thousands and decimating their cities. I highly doubt if God wants to see this world not know that we are supposed to be loving one another. The end result will never justify the means. To decimate people and destroy their cities will never justify the result of having more land and resources. Unfortunately, Israel now has a bad name and so does the United States even if the war was won by them. The world will never forgive the two narcissists in power and what they have down. The red flags were up a long time ago but the trumpers never seen it. You cannot let a man who has had several bankruptcies and ran a fraudulent college to run our country. He will do the same to the country if he has a chance and the voters have given him that chance and now, we find ourselves in a mess here in April 2026.
Another disturbing thing that is happening is this Christian right nationalism that infiltrates our courts and politics and education etc. This is not going to end well as we can see how this "Armageddon" mentality is about to cause a horrible catastrophe for us all. Leave your religion out of politics.
Is it safe to say that God loves us all and is no respecter of persons or does not have his "selected" people who can only enter heaven? Isn't that kind of prejudice for us to believe "we have the right religion?" Therein is the root of the problem. I believe a God would not castaway a child who happens to grow up in Islam or Judaism. They can't help where they were born. We "Christians" can't help we were born here in America where there are thousands of churches.
Let's face it, the Christians came to this country and nearly iped out all the Native American Indians. They still have them pushed into their reservations here and there and living in poverty. The Slave trades and the institution of slavery lasted a long 400 years before Abe Lincoln and others rose up to end it. It divided the country so bad a civil war broke out just because others believe that black folks were lesser than the whites. The same stupid spirit still beats in the hearts of people. Why do people love to hate and divide? If we could live by the golden rule and Treat others the way you want to be treated, then we would have a peaceful world.
We all can bring about change. Freedom of speech and the right to peacefully protest such as the NO KINGS rallies are the way to make the change. Let us vote for what is right. Vote for love. Vote to save our democracy. Vote to make sure the constitution is being followed along with the Bill of rights.
