Good morning friends, and welcome back to the garden. It’s been a minute since my last update because life has been busy moving our daughter and son-in-law into their new home in Wisconsin, plus enjoying a big family reunion. The garden waited patiently, though it didn’t exactly weed itself. I’ve been wrangling weeds, experimenting with a crimping method, and laughing at the jungle that my onions turned into. On the brighter side, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and sunflowers are showing off and we’ve been eating plenty out of the garden. I even turned a few monster zucchinis into fritters for the grandson. Later I shift gears, burn down a big brush pile, and put the tractor grapple to work clearing trees. Oh, and the ongoing battle with a groundhog continues—he’s faster than me every time.
