On the fifth episode of Let's Play Scorn, we've obtained a shotgun of sorts and met a huge meat beast before tearing open a tunnel within it. However, we've gotta tear some more holes to reach the other two pieces of the puzzle mechanism beneath her. It takes me a while to locate the path within the pit needed to continue circumnavigating it, but eventually I stumble across it and all the flesh creatures it contains. The shotgun proves to be quite handy for bringing down the large bull-beasts, except when they decide to ambush spawn you from both sides. The pit does become easier to navigate once we find the level four access for our key-device, since it opens up some shortcuts. After enter the second hole and tearing a third one, we get trapped in a very unfortunate combat loop with seemingly everything the pit has to throw at us. However, once the three puzzle pieces are in place, the previously impossible puzzle becomes extremely simple. The mechanism proves to be a massive elevator, and we (as well as the pit queen) ascend to a rail station above. From there, we ride a transport to a very different place, some sort of city or temple where the influence of HR Giger is not only felt, it utterly LOOMS over you from massive erotic statues.

On this episode of First Impressions, Yuna is just a regular highschool student and loner until the day a huge earthquake hits. Seemingly killed in her classroom when it implodes, she instead wakes up in some kind of limbo before ending up in a void based on her classroom. Our goal is to find all of the other students from her homeroom, and to do that we travel into dreamworlds that seem to be built for each of them. The first student, Ali, seems to have an interest in medieval European history and architecture, and so she ended up in some sort of castle dungeon. Armed with a trench knife, Yuna explores the dungeon and is attacked by animate suits of armor. After assembling an especially large suit of armor that seems to represent Ali, we fight it before returning to the classroom to find another dream to enter.
