On the third episode of Let's Play Ghostrunner - Project_Hel, Hel has caught up with the rogue Commander Bakunin on the elevator to the Base district. Our orders from the Keymaster are to apprehend him alive, and she seems to have a more personal relationship with him. However, he's not willing to back down without a fight, much to Hel's enjoyment. In the initial phases, we need to parry his full combo before getting a hit in. Then, he calls in backup from his Fenrir Squad to try and pin us down while he showers the arena in delayed-detonation missiles. Those reinforcements prove quite handy at powering up Hel's Surge ability, allowing us to eventually swat Bakunin from the sky and apprehend him through the chest.

On this episode of First Impressions, Yuna is just a regular highschool student and loner until the day a huge earthquake hits. Seemingly killed in her classroom when it implodes, she instead wakes up in some kind of limbo before ending up in a void based on her classroom. Our goal is to find all of the other students from her homeroom, and to do that we travel into dreamworlds that seem to be built for each of them. The first student, Ali, seems to have an interest in medieval European history and architecture, and so she ended up in some sort of castle dungeon. Armed with a trench knife, Yuna explores the dungeon and is attacked by animate suits of armor. After assembling an especially large suit of armor that seems to represent Ali, we fight it before returning to the classroom to find another dream to enter.

For the next Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise, were going after the final monster in the game, the Crimson Glow Valstrax. Unlike the regular Valstrax, a Crimson Glow has been overloaded with Dragon energy, turning it into an aggressive and destructive beast. Like a strange hybrid of a dragon and a jet plane, Valstrax is able to boost around at high speed, fire a variety of energy projectiles, and rearrange its bladed wings into a more close-combat focused orientation. Finally, its able to launch high into the sky before slamming back down on you like a crimson meteor.

For the next Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise, were going after the one and only Thunder Serpent Narwa. This Elder Dragon is the cause of the Rampage that has threatened Kamura Village for generations, as she drives monster mad in her search for her mate Ibushi. As the final monster in the game at launch, her fight is a little different than the average hunt. We find her waiting in the Coral Palace, an arena formed around an ancient castle that she likely destroyed. With the ability to float through the air firing off blasts of energy, shes a difficult monster to land hits on, but she also raises chunks of earth holding old weapon emplacements that we can make use of.
