On the twelfth episode of Let's Play Dead Space 3, Isaac has located the Machine for the group and escaped Norton's petty attempt to lock him in an elevator. As we try to catch up with everyone, we walk right into another Unitologist ambush led by Danik himself. It turns out Norton was even more petty than he seemed, having tipped off Danik about the location of Tau Volantis. Being an ineffectual villain, Isaac easily escapes Danik once again. But before we can finish off his escorts, the Nexus that we left thawing bursts out of the Dissection Hangar. As more or less an alien-based equivalent to the Aegis VII Hive Mind, the Nexus is a pretty familiar fight. At least until we get sucked back inside to destroy the internal glowing weakpoints as well. After the beast is slain, we find Ellie and Santos right around a corner and apparently unaware of everything that just happened. To reach the Machine, we'll need to first ascend the mountain to reach the S.C.A.F. Excavation Site.

For the next Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise, were going after the final monster in the game, the Crimson Glow Valstrax. Unlike the regular Valstrax, a Crimson Glow has been overloaded with Dragon energy, turning it into an aggressive and destructive beast. Like a strange hybrid of a dragon and a jet plane, Valstrax is able to boost around at high speed, fire a variety of energy projectiles, and rearrange its bladed wings into a more close-combat focused orientation. Finally, its able to launch high into the sky before slamming back down on you like a crimson meteor.

For the next Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise, were going after the one and only Thunder Serpent Narwa. This Elder Dragon is the cause of the Rampage that has threatened Kamura Village for generations, as she drives monster mad in her search for her mate Ibushi. As the final monster in the game at launch, her fight is a little different than the average hunt. We find her waiting in the Coral Palace, an arena formed around an ancient castle that she likely destroyed. With the ability to float through the air firing off blasts of energy, shes a difficult monster to land hits on, but she also raises chunks of earth holding old weapon emplacements that we can make use of.
