On the first episode of Let's Play Scorn, we awaken in a foggy and desolate wasteland. Crawling across the slimy ground, we end up dragging ourselves right into a pit. Down below we find some dilapidated, distinctly Giger-esque halls and a machine that bolts some kind of device into our arm. With it, we're able to activate and control the fleshy, bio-mechanical devices all around us. Soon after we emerge into a vast central chamber, and a big door that will require more hands than we currently have to open. Exploring around reveals a number of different devices we'll need to activate in sequence, and following them backwards leads us to a dreaded sliding tile puzzle. Our prize for struggling through the puzzle is a grotesque little egg-man, contorted and fused with some kind of shell. While he doesn't initially seem bothered by helping us with the puzzle, he grows increasingly distraught as we push him down the tracks through some other unpleasant machines, culminating in a big scoop. We get the helping hand we need, but it isn't quite enough to open the door yet.

![Boss Bytes: First Garangolm Hunt [Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak]
For the first Boss Bytes hunt in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, were going after the first of the Three Lords, a trio of monsters pulling inspiration from classic Universal monsters. Garangolm is based off of Frankensteins monster and the golems that were in turn his inspiration. But this big ol stone gorilla also has a unique trick up his sleeve, or rather on them: dual elements in the form of a fire arm and a water arm.

So, we blow up a train full of vampires and their snacks to snag a tick that can lead us to DAbano. ![First Impressions On: Scathe
[Released August 31, 2022]
On this episode of First Impressions, John Scathe is sent down to Hell by his boss, the Divine Creator (who is a glowy orb). His mission is to claim the Devil-equivalents (probably also an orb) staff, to strike a pre-emptive blow on the forces of Chaos and destabilize the balance of Light and Dark. However, to do that well need to explore the Hell-Labyrinth to claim six Hellstones. Hell, unlike Dante could have imagined it, is made up of a lot of hallways of varying colors and full of demons with guns or explosives bolted to them. With no map of the Labyrinth to start with, well have to explore it level by level to locate the Hellstones and handy things like shiny new guns and dark magic.
