If I had to hazard a guess, I would say this is the middle of the game, given the stakes involved, allegiances revealed, and the inevitable sacrifices banding us together. Not to mention we've somehow gotten a Princess involved in our shenanigans. So after everyone hopefully forgives me for losing Gezui's wife and Master Shoin's sister, we can chit-chat for a bit, rebuild some bridges, and muster our forces to save the Satsuma clan and Princess Atsuko from the evil Blue Demon and his allied Shogunate forces.
