Photographers in this era were sent to some of the most interesting places, like sunken ships and pirate coves, where I got attacked. Then there's the house that was set on fire, where I got attacked, and let's not forget the people that attacked after I took pictures of those afflicted with cholera at a doctor's request. Oddly enough, didn't get attacked after following a murderous bandit back to their murder-den/clubhouse for a kodak moment, but, you know, murder-den. At least we're not holding up the line at an amusement park by taking a ton of selfies, that actually calls for violence!
